New Event: Taps & Tastes Beer Festival

Our team is proud to sponsor this brand-new beer festival, coming to Okemo on Saturday, September 18th! Introducing the all-new Taps & Tastes event at Okemo's Jackson Gore Courtyard. Come sample countless varieties of cold drinks from 20+ regional craft breweries. We will have over 50 beers and ciders on tap for you to experience while enjoying live music in the mountains. Join us on Saturday, September 18th from 12 to 5 p.m. with V.I.P. entrance beginning at 11 a.m.

While the beer and cider sampling is the highlight of the event, you won't want to miss the incredible live music we have lined up for you. The afternoon will kick off with Danny & The Parts, an Americana band from Burlington, VT. The upbeat and whimsical original songs with a hint of traditional rock are exactly what we need to get the party started. Danny & The Parts will be on stage from 12 to 1:30 p.m. Following the opening act, you will enjoy the sounds of Della Mae, the Grammy-nominated, all-women string band.  This engaging roots band features a diverse musical style with a fiddle, bass, guitar, mandolin, and lead vocalist. If they weren't already cool enough, their mission as a band is to showcase top female musicians and to improve opportunities for women and girls through advocacy, mentorship, programming, and performance. Della Mae will take the stage from 2 to 5 p.m.

The event isn't called "Taps & Tastes" for nothing! Aside from the incredible spread of beer and cider, the festival will also showcase a great lineup of tasty food options. We know that if Okemo is cooking, it's got to be yummy. You'll find everything from specialty food options to simple and delicious bites. Plus, there will a spread of craft and local vendors at the event offering items like local maple syrup, Vermont-made gifts, and snacks!

Last but not least, the festival wouldn't be complete without a little adventure. Okemo's Adventure Zone will be open throughout the duration of the event including the Haulback Challenge Course, the Timber Ripper Mountain Coaster, Lumberin' Cal's Miniature Golf, and more! Tickets can be purchased for the Adventure Zone online and ahead of time.
