For over 26 years I have been selling real estate in the Okemo Valley.
After college I returned to my home town and in 1988 I married my husband Scott and began my real estate career. Scott and I worked together on our first project on Okemo Mountain. Since then we have been actively involved in several developments on Okemo and in the surrounding area.
I am grateful for the opportunity to chair the Okemo Community Challenge, work with Streetscapes and various nonprofit organizations in the area giving back to the community that has given my family so much.
To keep up with demand I opened a second office located on Okemo in the Winterplace Condominium complex where Alyson Blodgett lends her talents as our Winterplace Broker. My goal is to always serve the best needs of both buyers and sellers. To meet this goal, over the years I have worked to attain designations of Realtor® ABR®, CRS®, GRI and most recently my Resort and Second-Home Property Specialist (RSPS) certification.
For 4 generations my family has been part of the Okemo Valley.
My husband and I, along with our two daughters, 23 and 25 are proud to carry on the family tradition of serving the community of Ludlow. Our entire family enjoys hiking, running, sailing and of course, skiing.
For the past 14 years, I have been proud to be part of the William Raveis Real Estate Vermont Properties Team and have also enjoyed my position as the Winterplace Broker for Vermont Properties. My previous work in the marketing department at Okemo Mountain has given me a great deal of knowledge about the Okemo Valley area and surrounding towns. My strong work ethic and passion for the real estate business motivates me as I focus on our clients and making every real estate transaction a positive experience.
In 2013, I received my Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR) designation and Resort and Second Home Property Specialist (RSPS) certification. Both provide me with insight and expertise to assist buyers and sellers in this unique vacation home market. The ABR designation is considered the benchmark of excellence in buyer representation. My commitment is always to serve the best interests of our buyers and sellers. This is reflected in feedback from my customers who appreciate having a personalized and invested touch in this often too busy world.
I feel fortunate to have the time to work with our team on various community service projects and to also serve on The Little School Board of Directors as secretary. Being part of both the Ludlow and Mt. Holly communities and raising my family in such a great place reminds me every day why I live and work in the Okemo Valley.
After graduating from Johnson and Wales University, I spent many years in the local hospitality industry forming strong ties to the Okemo Valley. In 2013, I joined William Raveis Vermont Properties as a sales associate, bringing with me 4 years of experience in real estate sales and real estate investments. Since joining the William Raveis Vermont Properties team, I have completed my Certified International Property Specialist course to better service our international buyers.
I believe my knowledge of various software and the latest technological devices gives me the experience to remain current with the latest marketing trends in real estate. Most recently, I earned my CIPS designation, providing me the knowledge and tools to work with international buyers.
I enjoy being very active in my community serving as the current president of the Reading Friends and Neighbors Community Foundation, president of Reading Recreation Commission and a board member of Okemo Community Challenge. I am also a member of Vermont Association of Realtors® and president-elect for the Crown Point Board of Realtors.
A native Vermonter, I live in Reading with my wife and two sons and in my spare time enjoy all that Vermont has to offer including skiing, biking, boating, hiking, and snowmobiling.
As a native Vermonter, and someone who has grown up and is now raising my own children in Ludlow I understand why people seek the special lifestyle that Vermont and more importantly the Okemo Valley offers.
I started my career in the hospitality industry with the goal of providing the best customer service experience and bring this desire to my real estate career. As an agent, I truly enjoy helping both buyers and sellers reach their real estate goals. I am excited to join the team at William Raveis Vermont Properties and the passion they bring to the Okemo Valley.
I have been a Realtor for 9 years, and for the past two served as a Director on our local Crown Point Board of Realtors. In my years of selling real estate I have sold multiple historic properties. I have a passion for turn of the century architecture and I find the stories within the history of these properties very interesting.
I pride myself on being up to date with the latest real estate technology and software, which in turn helps me to better serve buyers and sellers alike. I work hard to understand the needs of my clients and give 110% to make their real estate dreams a reality.
My family enjoys being a part of this great community. We pride ourselves on volunteering our time to our local school and community. In our spare time we enjoy traveling with our two children, knowing we are able to return to this special place and call Ludlow our home.
