Here in Vermont, farmer's markets are plentiful, often year-round, and located in almost every town no matter the size. Farmer's markets are part of what makes this state so special and they bring so much character and a sense of community to the area. A great portion of our community is devoted to sourcing their food from local vendors to supplement their trips to the store. We know our farmers by name and we create long-lasting relationships with them, too! There’s nothing better than picking up freshly-picked strawberries, a dozen of farm-fresh eggs, or an in-season ear of corn.
During your visit to Vermont, carve out time to stop by the Ludlow Farmers Market on your drive into town. Spend your Friday afternoons this summer supporting the local farmers, bakers, artisans, cheesemakers, winemakers, and musicians who are a vital part of our community here in the Okemo Valley. The market is located on the green of the Okemo Mountain School at 53 Main Street in Ludlow and is open from 4 to 7 p.m. every Friday until October 8th.
This market provides locally grown and raised produce, artisanal food products, unique crafts and gifts, and so much more. Read more about the vendors that make up this small but mighty market below.
