Comedy Night will be held at the Clock Tower Base Lodge featuring Rusty DeWees, "The Logger".
Sponsored by Vermont Properties & Development, this side-splitting night of professional comedy is sure to have you rolling in the aisles.

2011 Coat Drive through November 27th
Due to the devastation created by Irene, the need is greater than ever.
Bring your clean, gently used outer garments to Vermont Properties and Development, Inc. between 9am-5pm.
We will be collecting items until November 27, 2011.
Outerwear will be donated to Black River Good Neighbors to support local families in need.

Outdoor ice rink and a great hill for sledding. You must provide your own skates and sleds.
There is an ice rink fee. About 5 minutes from Okemo

Okemo Family New Years Eve
The 4th Annual Family New Year's Eve Celebration at Okemo was a huge success. If you missed the party - be sure to join us this year when we ring in 2012!
Midnight arrives early for friends and family enjoying a whole host of activities. Following early evening ice skating, snow tubing, snowshoeing, Mountain Coaster rides, horse-drawn wagon rides, cookie decorating, bingo games and a trivia tournament, families can ring in the New Year early with a DJ dance party - and still get the kids to bed in time for a full day on the slopes the next day. Party games, balloons, noisemakers and fireworks add to the New Year celebration, complete with a pizza party dinner in the Roundhouse at Jackson Gore from 5-9 p.m.

The Mountain Coaster
Last winter, Okemo Mountain Resort unveiled Timber Ripper.
A four-season attraction that offers a scenic and exhilarating ride through alpine forests and along the contours of the mountain at Okemo's Jackson Gore.
The ride will start with a five-minute, 1,600-foot climb followed by a 375 vertical-foot descent along 3,100 feet of track that follows the contours of the mountain with added waves, camel backs, banking loops and a "twister" section, at speeds of up to 25 mph.
Timber Ripper will be open 7 days a week from 11 am to 6 pm. Tickets may be purchased at Jackson Gore Resort Services.

The Ice House Skating Facility
Guests are sure to love Okemo's new regulation-sized hockey rink and recreational ice skating pavilion. The connected building features skate rentals and a warming area with a gas-fueled fireplace. Skate rentals will be available and an ice resurfacing machine will keep the skating surface smooth and in top condition throughout the season.

Snow Tubing Park
This slopeside tubing park makes a perfect après ski activity for the whole family! The 4-lane tubing park is located just off the magic carpet in the courtyard at Jackson Gore. Tubes are available for rent by the hour. Please note that children must be at least 42" to ride and you must sign a waiver to participate

**Please be aware that tubing is a very popular activity and there is a chance it will sell out..

Winter Wildlife Snowshoe Tour - Saturdays and Holiday Wednesdays at 1 and 3 pm
Follow your guide around the Jackson Gore Base area looking for signs of the wildlife that remain in the woods at Okemo during the winter. A fun and educational tour, this trip covers approximately 1 mile up and down snowy terrain. Come dressed for the weather. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
This tour is not recommended for children under 5.

Moonlit Snowshoe Tours - Saturdays and Holiday Wednesdays at 5 and 7 pm
Join us for a snowshoe tour in the woods surrounding the Jackson Gore Inn. Tours will last up to an hour on the snow, across fields and past historic sites. Please be advised, this tour requires walking in snow and is for those looking for a little adventure. Moonlight Snowshoe tours may not be suitable for small children and can be strenuous. Call the Spring House (802) 228-1419 to reserve your spot. Reservations are required for this activity.
The Firepit & Snow Fun Playground
Unlatch those boots and relax fireside under the stars with family and friends. This slopeside gathering spot is a great place to exchange stories of the day, meet new friends, and unwind with drinks. It's also a fun spot to sit back and watch the groomers bring the mountain to life, busily preparing the hill for another great day!
And let's not forget the Snow Fun Playground - a HUGE hit with the kids last season. Our snow fun park provides great climbing and crawling structures covered in snow for exploring and sliding. New this past season - the BIGLOO!

Billing’s Farm and Museum
The Billings Farm & Museum is a working dairy farm and a living museum of Vermont's rural past. The farm dates back to 1871, when owner Frederick Billings, a lawyer, railroad entrepreneur, and philanthropist began importing cows from the Isle of Jersey. Fletcher Farm School for the Arts and Crafts
Fletcher Farm School for the Arts and Crafts is a 13,000 sq. ft. professional multi-art facility owned and operated by the Society of Vermont Artists and Craftsmen, Inc. a non-profit located in Ludlow, Vermont.
The School consists of ten classrooms in a renovated historic Vermont Farm setting, and an Art and Craft Shoppe open during the summer months.

VINS Nature Center
Located just west of Quechee Gorge on Route 4. The VINS Nature Center features over 30 live birds of prey native to Vermont, and is considered to be one of the most impressive collections of live raptors in North America. You'll find a beautiful winding nature trail that leads to the Ottauquechee River, featuring a bird blind, a vernal pool and several other natural points of interest. Programs such as Predators of the Sky and Fledgling Corner are both educational and entertaining.
