Okemo is going to continue to make snow as we go thru February.  Our concentration will be on the different lift pods on the Main Mountain and Jackson Gore.  We plan to build base depths and enhance the surface conditions as we head into March.  No doubt we will need to pick and choose trails, and some trails won’t be made on, but we will be making on your favorites and many others….

It was the perfect ski day at Okemo Mountain in Vermont. The day started with the 2nd annual Alpine Haus Demo Day on Okemo Mountain and ended with the Winterplace Homeowners Social at Willie Dunns at the Okemo Valley Golf Club!

For those that have been watching the Okemo Market you no doubt have seen a drop in pricing and that has led to a drop in inventory for segments of our Okemo market. 

While 2 bedroom condos for sale still are abundant on the mountain, recent  price reductions are getting the attention of buyers.  There are deals to be had and now is the time to buy! 

According to NAR New England is leading the real estate recovery and Vermont is contributing to this recovery.  Fortunatley we did not have the fall out from excessive foreclosures that other states experienced.  Vermont does not have as deep a hole to climb out of but it appears slow and steady is the way out!
